Dave Buss has spent more than 30 years working as a soil scientist and agronomist. His experience in water, fertility, weed, insect, and disease management has been proven time and again as farms of all sizes turn to him for soil nutrient planning and agronomic services. But Dave’s relationship with the land started way before he earned his Masters Degree.
Born and raised on a farm in southern Wisconsin, farming has always been in his blood. Not only has it provided him with the ability to adapt to varying climatic conditions to produce quality crops, he knows the power those skills can have when it comes to driving the local economy forward.
As part of our passion to deliver quality, Wisconsin-grown hops to local breweries, we enjoy talking with our customers — the brewers. Keeping an open line of communication with them helps us learn more about their needs, as well as helping brewers enhance their craft by connecting them with expert hop advice at a moment’s notice.
Dave is a founding member of the Wisconsin Hop Exchange Growers Cooperative (WHEx), which provides processing, packaging, and marketing services for its members.
